We will not disclose or use any of your personal information other than for the purpose of communicating with you regarding our service and for the purpose of serving you better, such as notifying you of a change in our rates, a new feature or a change in the way the service operates.
The only information SmsCard.com.au ever collects about it's users is mobile number, and the email address you use for your PayPal(TM) account (which does not even need to be your email address, or one you use regularly). This is used for processing payments and adding credit to your account. If you purchase credit by buying a prepaid voucher then we only store your mobile number and nothing else. We will never willfully supply your mobile number or email address to any third party except in cases where we are mandated to by law, or for the purposes of fraud prevention or detection as outlined below. While we have a log of when calls are made by your number and what numbers they are made to, we do not have any way of using this information to identify you or the connecting party personally, nor would we attempt to. This service exists purely as a VoIP (Voice Over IP) callback gateway and is not involved with any other marketing, information gathering or advertising activities.
We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.
We do not store any personally identifiable information. The information we do store is secured in a high security data centre accessible only by a very few staff members within our organisation.
